Muhamediuly Arystanbek

Doctor of Arts, professor, respected public figure of Kazakhstan, holder of "Kurmet" medal.

Arystanbek Mukhamediuly began his career in 1984 as an artist of the State Symphony Orchestra of the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Jambul.

1991-1993 - as a chief specialist of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1997 – Graduated from the National School of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ("Governance").

1997-2001 – Served as a Chief of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republican Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2001 – Finished the postgraduate studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in 2003 successfully defended his thesis and received a Ph.D. in History.

2003 – General Director of RSE  "Directorate of national and international cultural programs" of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2005 – President of JSC "Kazakh auenderi."

2006 – Served as Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He organized large-scale cultural events on the governmental and international levels, including the State program "Cultural Heritage".

2007 – Chief Inspector of Socio-Political Department, Head of the sector of culture of the Department of Internal Policy of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2008  - was appointed as a rector of the T.K. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts by the Decree of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan.

In March, 2014, he was appointed as Minister of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan

In August 9, 2014 by the Decree of the President of Republic of Kazakhstan he was appointed as Minister of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  http://www.akorda.kz.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded the title «Kazakhstan Yenbek sіnіrgen kairatkeri», has thanksgiving letters from the President of Kazakhstan, was awarded with the breastplate «Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan», jubilee medals «10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan», «10 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan», «10 years to Astana», «20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan», the Order «Kurmet», medal «Astana», was awarded the title of «World master in Аrts and Сulture». In 2012 he became the winner of the title «Manager of the Year» in Russian competition.

Author of a number of musical compositions, such as «Astana», «Maktanyshym Elbasy», «Asyl Sezim», «Anazhan», instrumental piece «Almaty koktemі», «Jean ake», «Bakytty zhandarmyz», «Dostar», «Ata-anaga tagzym», «Bakytym», «Ana», «Hymn of the KNU named after Al-Farabi», dance compositions «Bakyt kusy»; «Inspiration», marches for brass bands.

- Doctor of Philosophy (Phd), topic: "Kazakhstan and UNESCO": aspects of cultural cooperation".

Languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.

Married. Wife – Iskakova Galia Nigmetovna (1962), the candidate of Fine Art Studies. Has three children.
